Course Description

Scratch Level 2 is designed for individuals who want to gain more advanced programming knowledge and create complex games and projects using Scratch. Students will learn the fundamental concepts of computer programming and how to use Scratch's advanced features to develop more sophisticated games and applications. The course covers topics such as custom functions, broadcasts, and systematic programming, which will prepare students for more complex programming languages.

In Level 2 of the Scratch programming course, students will be introduced to new programming concepts, such as custom functions, that will enable them to write more modular and reusable code. They will also learn how to use broadcasts to trigger events, which is an important feature when designing interactive games and applications. Furthermore, students will gain a better understanding of systematic programming, which emphasizes organizing code in a structured manner to make it easier to understand, modify, and reuse.

Scratch Level 2 builds on the fundamental concepts learned in Scratch Level 1, such as the basic coding concepts, logic statements, and loops. With the new concepts covered in Scratch Level 2, students will be able to create more complex and interactive games and projects using Scratch.
